i just realized that i won't be here for the first anniversary of this blog.
yes, one year already.
around 600 drawings.
and nothing changed.
and it is getting worst.
what was the power of art against war again?
not even peanuts' shells.

As Hans Richter said about Dada, an art of a similarly hopeless situation, "We wanted to stay human."

So - we try to stay human. I think that's our only weapon.

Finally patient enough to figure out the neccesary steps to once again greet you and offer comment. Happy Anniversary, and as for the peanut shells, I tend to agree with john b-r. Be well, and a safe Journey.

you´re an artist. you cannot (and shouldnt)change that. you wake up other people, you create conciousness, you may not stop war or hunger, but i saw your art (and, like me, others, i´m sure) and felt something powerful, it touched my heart, it made me cry and feel a friend of you. i wish i could do something else than speak to you and to everybody about this...my name means hope (in russian but i´m from argentina)and that´s what i send to you. hope and a close hug.
